Held from 21 – 23 July 2010 in beautiful Livigno, Italy, the IMBA Europe Conference and Flow Country Workshop brought together 27 attendees from ten different countries to discuss access, advocacy, and trail development strategies.
Presentation topics included singletrack trail development guidelines, funding mechanisms, the advancement of IMBA Europe, mountain bicycle tourism, and strategies for future collaboration. Attendees also assisted with the development of an additional section of the Flow Country Trail in the Mottolino bike park and enjoyed several group rides. Highlights included a dinner hosted by APT Livigno at a new agriturismo restaurant and the IMBA-hosted dinner and Italian premier of Hans Rey’s new Wheels for Life movie.
