DIRTT Project Rider Survey

Riders views on trails wanted! What trails do you like to ride? What trails should there be more of? Are there trails being built which you love? Or hate? It is well-known that amazing trails at all levels are the fundamental factor in getting more people enjoying mountain biking. A new EU funded project, DIRTT, is aiming to help improve guidelines and training for mountain bike trail designers, builders and volunteers – with the end goal of increasing the quantity and quality of trails for riders. To help prioritise areas of training, and understand the needs and wants of riders across Europe, the partners have developed a 5-10 minute survey which they hope riders can complete by 22nd May 2020.  Your input to this survey is key to ensuring that the direction of future trail building reflects the desire of our riding community. Fill in the survey here   More Information on the DIRTT Project DIRTT Project – Developing Inter-European Trail Builder Training (DIRTT Project) – consists of a number of partner organisations whose aims are to develop trail design and building guidelines with an educational framework and associated professional training programmes. We believe that by working together with partners across Europe we can share resources, knowledge and ideas and help mountain biking continue to grow across Europe. The partners in the project are from a number of backgrounds including: advocacy organisations, sports associations, governmental, educational institutions, tourism, as well as private enterprises in the sector. The countries involved are Switzerland, Portugal, Scotland, Netherlands, Denmark and Norway.
