DIRTT Dissemination Seminar

7 - 8 September 2022 | Geilo, Norway

Join the DIRTT Project consortium in Norway to learn about the main outcomes of the project, and what the future holds for trail building in Europe.

The dissemination seminar aims to present and clarify the results achieved by the DIRTT project and to outline how the Educational Framework will be applied, now and in the future. In cooperation with IMBA Europe, it is possible to participate in an extended program to make the most of your visit to the Hallingdal region.

What to expect?

The DIRTT dissemination seminar coincides with the start of the 1st European Mountain Bike Trail Planning, Construction and Maintenance study program at Fagskolen i Viken. The part-time, level 5 (EQF) course awards 30 ECTS and welcomes 30 participants from 14 different countries.

During the dissemination seminar, attendees will get an insight into this training program, meet the first generation of students, and the opportunity to look at the practical side of trail building during site visits. The second part of the program will focus on the key deliverables of the project, the various elements of the Educational Framework including the trail sector market research, syllabus, training resources and various examples how trail building training can be delivered in the future.
