Dutch MTB Summit

On October 5th you are very welcome at the Dutch Mountainbike Summit. Are you a volunteer on a trail crew? During this day you will receive useful tools and information to improve the maintenance of 'your' MTB route and bike park. The Summit is organized by Tracks & Trails and NTFU and takes place at the Specialized Europe HQ in 's-Heerenberg.

Professional MTB management

During the summit, speakers talk about mountain biking and the impact on soil, heritage and flora and fauna. Another topic to address during this day is liability and the importance of contracts and insurance. The professionalization of route construction sets requirements for construction and maintenance and the organizations that carry out the maintenance. Site owners are also placing increasing demands on the use of their terrain for MTB routes. Not only from the point of view of flora and fauna, but increasingly from liability.

Take your bike with you

You can attend the presentations of experts from the MTB world until mid-afternoon. After that, it is high time to hit the trails in the Montferland area, whether or not on a Specialized 2020 test bike. Join the dinner afterwars and you will be a guest at the presentation of the Mountainbike Trail Awards.
