After many months of negotiations, ČeMBA and Czech Foresters became partners for sustainable trail building development. Czech Forests as a state company was established in 1992 by the Czech Ministry of agriculture. Their main focus is the management of more than 1,3 million ha of forests in state possession (which is nearly 86% of all state forests) and taking care of more than 38 thousand km of watercourses and streams.
As a result, Czech Forests supports a range of new events, including the upcoming Trail Building School. Czech Forests values the meaning and educational character of such events.
What, when, where?
From 11 – 13 September, two events will take place at the Trutnov Trails. Former Whistler Bikepark manager and trail builder Tom ‘Pro’ kicks the weekend off with the workshop ‘How to establish a successful bike park’. The IMBA Trail Building School (planning & design) will start Friday afternoon and ends Sunday afternoon. The Trail Building School is fully booked, for Tom Pro’s workshop are a few spots left.
