IMBA Europe Summit 2016 at SRAM’s EDTC

IMBA Europe’s 2016 Summit will take place at the SRAM European Development and Training Center (EDTC) in Schweinfurt (Germany). SRAM is IMBA Europe’s founding partner and the EDTC offers all facilities to host a great mountain bike conference. From 22-24 April, mountain bike enthuasiasts from across Europe will gather in Germany for a exciting mixture of top keynote speakers, project meetings, breakout sessions, social events and of course, riding activities. [[{“type”:”media”,”view_mode”:”media_responsive”,”fid”:”544″,”attributes”:{“alt”:””,”class”:”media-image”,”style”:”max-width: 680px;”,”width”:”100%”}}]]WHAT TO EXPECT?Friday and Saturday’s program will start with two keynote speeches in the morning, followed by several break-out sessions in the afternoon. Friday’s program includes a SRAM Factory Tour and a project meeting of EO-MTBING, regarding the EU Instructor-Guide project. This project is about creating a standard qualifciation level for MTB instructor-guides across Europe. Be sure not too leave to early on Saturday, we’ll finish the day with a great BBQ and pumptrack event at SRAM’s Backyard trail. More names to follow. EPIC RIDE ON SUNDAYIt has become a tradition to organise mountain biking activtities during IMBA events and this year, certainly no exception will be made. Sunday morning, we will leave Schweinfurt and travel towards the Rhon region for our Epic Ride, starting at the Kreuzberg near Bischofsheim, home of the Flowtrail Kreuzberg.
