Who should attend the Summit?
The Summit is designed for trail advocates, land managers, tourism experts, industry representatives, policy makers, and anyone passionate about developing, protecting, and promoting sustainable trail systems across Europe.
How do I get there?
A shuttle service from Barcelona airport will be available on Monday, September 15 at 13:00 and 18:00, and for the return journey on Thursday, 18 September at 08:00 and Friday at 08:00.
Bikes can be transported on the shuttles.
When registering for the Summit, please select the shuttle option — a small fee applies.
Where should I stay?
Hotel recommendations, including an attendee discount, can be found on the event website.
Are there bike rental options?
Yes — local bike rental stores in Boltana have bikes available to hire during your stay. We recommend booking in advance to guarantee your preferred bike. Orbea will bring a fleet of demo bikes which are available for summit attendees (first come, first served).
Recommendations can be found on the event website.
Why should I stay longer?
Boltana is an emerging MTB destination. The Summit is a perfect opportunity to explore the trails of the MTB Kingdoms — a network of trails extending through the surrounding Pyrenees.
Also, immediately after the Summit, the Sea Otter Europe event in Girona (about 3 hours away) is a great follow-up for industry pros, riders, and journalists.
What are the highlights of the Summit?
The Summit will feature:
- Presentations from leading trail advocates, policy makers, industry innovators
- A variety of breakout sessions, workshops and networking opportunities
- Group rides, outdoor workshops & activities
- The DIRTT (final) dissemination event (Thursday morning)
- Opportunities to connect with the European MTB community and explore a growing destination first-hand
